The Cornfield: How to Hunt Deer in a Cornfield
Tip #1 from How to Hunt Deer in a Cornfield: “Corn Camouflage is a must!”
Did you know that deer have some of the sharpest eyes out of all creatures? The only thing deer have trouble seeing is scrambled colors. If you are hunting in a corn field I suggest you buy a light yellow camouflage suit and face mask. Check out your local sporting goods store to find these!

I have goggles.
Dear Madam–
Thank you for this tip. My question to you: Do you think my Halloween costume would work?
Deron, are they the night-vision goggles or the kind you wear in the swimming pool?
A yellow Halloween costume with a mask might trick a deer. Does it have any of that yellow CAUTION tape on it? That might not be good if the deer is literate.
Oh, y’all? Y’all can see me in the picture, right? I bet the deer can’t. Ha. Ha. Ha.
yes.
My Halloween costume is a ketchup bottle.

non-trophy antlers.
My cornfield collaborator told me that a relative, together with a hunting buddy, has placed a deer-cam out in the woods near the cornfield (deer season approaching and all). We got thinking we might mess with their minds by thrusting the glass deer in front of the deer-cam. Unfortunately, we’re a little vague on the location. “Out in the woods somewhere” is pretty much all we know.
P.S. A reminder: Once we have exhausted the photo ops (and it won’t be long), the glass swizzle sticks will be shipped to Cindy, as promised.
Thank you kindly. I love those swizzle sticks.
I wonder is there enough love in your big ol’ Texas heart for this monstrous thing?
That’s the best one.
Also, “if you are reading this perhaps you have seen a massive buck that is living in a corn field. Killing a deer out of a corn field can be quite difficult, but with the right tips you can improve your odds!”
