And a creepy come-hither expression on her face.

What is a little unnerving is that I recognize myself in that weird child.

You have your model’s pose going on. And they did teach us “modeling” in school, in elementary. I just now remember it. Someone actually came and taught the girls at the front of the classroom.

Although you were a “professional,” Shelia. Mother would sew outfits and we would go to luncheons and model those. Runways and all. So by the time I got to high school and did some modeling for a department store (junior petites), I was ready.

I guess we had to do something with our spare time since the men had outlawed girls sports in the South.

This is an extraordinary photograph, and especially so considering my feelings for the girl in the trapeze coat.

Sheila, maybe we could do an accidental exploitation film series kind of like the scenes from a vampire movie we did a while ago.

Sheila, you certainly took the strike a pose phrase to a new level back then. I’m thinking it originated with you.

She would have been teaching our elementary school modeling classes.

In my spare time I was either striking poses in cemeteries or setting fires in toilets.

    Or staging satanic operas.

Did you take the Priceless Personality course?

I took the alternate offering, Every Soul Has Its Price.

Or, The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus (Cross Road Blues).
