Are you building an actual Ark?

Yes, we are constructing a full-scale, all-wood ark based on the dimensions provided in the Bible (Genesis 6), using the long cubit, and in accordance with sound established nautical engineering practices of the era. It should become the largest timber-frame structure in the USA.

Sound nautical practices from *which* era?

Coop–yes, isn’t it strange that more recent knowledge is simply projected onto the past when people don’t really know anything about the time they are speaking of. If we can now check a GPS to see where we are, how much different could it have been then? If most people today could only name several dozen species of animals–how many could there really have been then? If the rainbow suddenly appeared then, for the first time, to show that it wouldn’t happen again, what could we possibly have to worry about?
