Los Angeles

Back from 4 days in Los Angeles. It was way cooler than I could have imagined. I went for a chance to see some of the old architecture before it disappeared, but I hardly cared once I was there. Every neighbourhood is so different from the next. The architecture is the city itself. Old downtown LA (and let’s be clear: not old Hollywood) is perhaps the most intriguing part. I’ll be hunting down archival images of downtown LA. If you know where I might find some, send them this way. Old documentaries too.

    I let the city have it’s way with me. It’s true. If you had wanted to come meet me at Cole’s/Varnish, I would have said yes yes YES! I was there every night! Thank you again for the tips! I will be back … as Arnie might say.
