Remember when Phil posted a weird rap battle video, and then I said it was in response to this guy who may or may not have been inspired by the first guy’s first video about tea, which was even more awesome?
Well, some guy at a blog I’ve never heard of wrote an article about them.

In truth, I find Elemental’s “Fighting Trousers” more awesome than the expostulations of The Gentleman Rhymer. All right. Maybe not altogether awesome, awesome being a tad extreme and somehow not quite, you know, English. But I found it thoroughly English, hence admirable, which (for us Anglophiles) trumps awesome.
“Elemental has been seen out wearing jeans: He’s not dedicated to the sartorial cause, and his pipe is from a joke shop.”
So he only acts like a pompous asshole when he’s on stage, and that’s a bad thing.
Anglo-American misunderstanding abounds, and even the Anglophiliac Americans get into the act. I realize now that you were saying you thought Elemental’s “Cup of Brown Joy” was more awesome than his “Fighting Trousers,” not that you deemed the Gentleman Rhymer the more awesome of the two.
Still, I prefer “Trousers” (either long or short) to “Tea,” though fond I am of tea, and it won’t be too terribly long till teatime here in my time zone.
But he acts it awfully well, don’t you think? And really, isn’t that the main thing, dear boy?
