a fashion shoot with the Lytro camera

Three weeks ago I read an article on mashable.com about a revolutionary new camera called the LYTRO that requires no focusing whatsoever. In fact, believe it or not, all focusing can be done after the picture is taken.

..

[T]his is the first EVER fashion shoot with the Lytro camera.

Michael, there is a waitlist for test users. I would encourage signing up on the website in hopes of getting one.

I like focusing on any of those window air conditioners.

Erica, I’ve just “reserved” a camera – is that what you mean?

Foreground, middleground, background. Is that it?

It can also focus the photograph that wasn’t taken.

Michael, if you are on the reserve list, they have been sending emails out to people that are wanting to be test users. Not sure if you got one, but every email I get from them they ask to update your profile. I’m crossing my fingers and making offerings to Cthulu or whatever. I’m curious how much one is going to cost.

The photographer cedes just a little bit more of his autonomy. Sigh.
