“No,” the girl said, “we’re not.”
Who’s seen it?
Saw it Friday night with my wife. I’m not a fan of how they handled the ending.
I haven’t seen it yet, but somehow that’s not surprising.
In fact, I think I disliked it enough that it’s retroactively tainted my enjoyment of all the previous movies.
That also doesn’t surprise me. I think they are contractually obligated.
I saw it Saturday. I am embarrassed to say that I was confused by a number of things (I didn’t read the books). Also, if I was a wizard, I think I’d carry my broom with me all the time, just in case I had to get to (or away from) somewhere quickly.
This is one of those out of contexts that didn’t require any clicking through for more context. I want to see the movie, but I’m pretty sure I’m too cheap (poor) to see it in the theaters. I’d rather spend the money on a movie I really care about.
Movies I care about, I wait and see at home. The theater is for explosions and magic wand fights, in 3D.
I didn’t see this one or the one before it. I did see all the other movies and I’ve read all the books. When I saw the trailer for this movie I was surprised by how little I remembered of any of it.
The way these things were released – over so many years and with the movies starting before the book series was finished – and the differences in the storylines from the book to the movies has made it nearly impossible for me to sort out what happened when or in which medium.
I’ll probably watch the last two movies eventually, but I don’t think I have anything to look forward to. Nothing.
Also, in response to Joel, Go Mavs!
I have no idea what that means or why it would be in response to me.
