    Thank you, Andrew. I’m often amazed by what reaches our news and what doesn’t. Here I hear a man who will not be put off by media run as part of the entertainment industry. His honesty is more than a match for the formal weapons arrayed against him. I hope.

    Darcus Howe was interviewed this morning on Democracy Now! along with Richard Seymour of the blog “Lenin’s Tomb.” He talked about the riots. This is what Seymour said about the media, “A political establishment, a media, and a state system that gives people … the impression that they will not be listened to, unless they force themselves on to your attention, is going to lead to riots,”
