    Marco. Chet Atkins: an artist. 10,000+ hours learning to know his instrument. And shown, here, on Hee-haw, no less an artist. I would argue Roy Clark was not much less able, if at all, but he was a clown and pandered to his clown-ness. Not unlike Jim Neighbors, singing, on the latter episodes of Gomer Pyle, USMC.

    Marco, that isn’t a criticism to your allusion. No, it’s an affirmation. How I related it to Andrew’s post or to your comment is a mystery to me. But it is related, perhaps vaguely, I’m sure.
