This is what got me going.

We are, like, dust in the wind. Man.

Deron, I just knew what it was that got you going. It got me going, too.

    Ti-ny. Bub-bles.

Like, don’t you think of all the dinosaurs at once, like a giant tableau?

I think of all the dinosaurs as figments of Satan.

I think that dinosaurs must not be very intelligent otherwise they wouldn’t have built their vast rich culture out of soft tissue and other non-fossil-friendly materials.

My mom and I were doing dishes after supper in our kitchen at their last visit to KC…some years ago.

Mom: (with a towel drying a dish) Do you believe in dinosaurs?

Me: Mom, those bones came from somewhere.

    (I wanted to cry.)

My grandmother wished she could have been around when the animals could talk. I don’t know if that included dinosaurs.

    I’m about to cry again.

When she left, that trip, she told me to find a good church.

I was going to link a link to remembery when my grandfather said something similar. Seems remembery is now somewhere in the interwebs. I don’t think I didn’t pay, but it could have gotten by me. Anyway, my grandfather said something similar to Danny and me once. We’ve tried. We haven’t found it yet. (We’re not looking too hard.)

These rememberies hurt my heart. Call to mind how different my fambly was. At least from those of some of my friends and from some of y’all’s.

I think my dinosaur phase was short lived as a child. I don’t deny they are fascinating, just not exceedingly fascinating to me.
