Morions for the Millions

Morions for the Millions is a Facebook group “dedicated to the reintroduction of the 17th century comb morion helmet as an article of everyday wear.”

I have already learned through a post to this group that a mix of old and new morions may be found within the Militaria offered on eBay, and I am reviewing the options.

    I could maybe tin-foil a pith helmet and give it a lip with a kind of Frank Gehry-esque swoop. That might be a DIY morion.

    But my ex- got the pith helmet in the division of spoils. He’d had it since before we were married.

    So I’d have to buy a pith helmet.

    Allan, I’m not sure I’d trust any cat who submitted to wearing headgear. Of any variety.
