Meet the Flockers: Lauren Stephenson
Hello, flock. A few things about myself, not in chronological order:
“Wanna see my telescope?” would be an effective pickup line.
I live in Boston and edit ESL textbooks. Sometimes I write about prisons, though I’ve never been incarcerated.
I love traveling and try to leave the United States at least once a year. So far I’ve been to China, Brazil, Nicaragua, parts of the UK, and all of North America. I’m going to the Dominican Republic in June.
I had the great luck of being in love once, though I’m not anymore.
DOB: 5/29/84. Tried to come out ass first but failed. Born to two wonderful educators and an older brother whom I am immensely proud of.
There is not much that I enjoy more than people telling me stories about themselves. Those are consistently some of the best moments in my life.
I would rather build it than buy it. I would rather do it myself than pay someone to do it for me.
Dream job: to give away money.
Pleasure to meet you all. I hope we can trade stories over a beer sometime, or you can come swing in my hammock and I’ll spike the lemonade.
